Interior designers want to position light precisely; exhibitors need suitable lighting for objects, including in display cases. Light IT addresses these tasks without excessively illuminating the entire room.
Own product development.
- Design of plastic, turned and milled parts
- Calculation and design of LED and power-supply PCBs
- Mechanical thermal coupling and economically viable locally manufactured heat sinks
- Development of the adhesive tape used in the product
Manufacturing within a tight budget.
Financing the moulds and establishing an economical supply chain were central challenges. The chain includes an adhesive-tape manufacturer, PCB manufacturer, toolmaker, injection-moulding company and assembly at a partner factory.
Own manufacturing aids include a tape-application machine, several presses and assembly fixtures. The self-designed packaging is manufactured in Hungary.
Around 1,000 lamps sold and delivered.
Light IT is used worldwide, by private customers and particularly interior designers. Museum Schloss Fürstenberg is a public reference under a sponsorship and advertising agreement. SLARK is the product company and manufacturer; Bianca Robotics presents Bartosch Slomak’s engineering contribution.
