Website delivery and hosting

When you request a page, the server processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address and requested resource, to deliver content to your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in a functional, secure website.

Hosting is provided through united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany, with IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Hosting takes place in Germany. IONOS processes requested files, referrers, browser and device information, operating system, access time and anonymised IP addresses in server logs for eight weeks for security and stability. Cookies and external content

The website code does not set cookies or use local storage, analytics or marketing services. Images and stylesheets are served locally; fonts are system fonts on your device. There are no embedded maps, social-media content or external video players.

The host describes technically necessary cookies; where strictly necessary, § 25(2) TDDDG applies. No consent dialogue is currently used for analytics or marketing. The need for consent will be reassessed if integrated services change.

Contact by email or telephone

We process your contact details, message and any supplied documents to handle your enquiry. Contract-related enquiries rely on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business enquiries, including those made on behalf of a company, generally rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and our interest in answering the enquiry.

Providing data is voluntary, but without the information needed to respond we may be unable to handle the enquiry. Data is deleted when processing is complete unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require further storage. Contractual and tax-related correspondence is retained under applicable statutory requirements.

Email links open your own email application; there is no contact form. Please arrange the exchange of particularly confidential documents in advance.

Email provider

Google Workspace is used for email communication. Message and communication data may be processed by Google and its subprocessors outside the EEA, including in the United States. Contractual safeguards include the data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses: Google Workspace data processing terms. Merely displaying an email link does not transmit a message to Google.

Links to other websites

The Light IT shop and services such as LinkedIn are linked, not embedded. Their providers are contacted only when you follow a link, and their privacy information then applies. This website does not process orders, payments or customer accounts.

Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time for the future without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Objection: Where processing relies on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). You may object to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.

Contact the controller above to exercise your rights. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, particularly where you normally live, work or where the suspected infringement occurred. The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision is responsible for private-sector organisations in Bavaria.
